From Java & OOP Course - IAG0040
Introduction
This site is dedicated to the subject IAG0040 "Programmeerimise erikursus II" (Special Course of Programming II) in Tallinn Technical University, teaching Java and Object-oriented programming (OOP). You will get 3.5 credits (AP) for passing this course successfully.
Bachelor students willing to study IDK0020 Objektorienteeritud programmeerimine keeles Java (Object Oriented Programming in Java) are also very welcome. You will be able to get your compulsory credits (2.5 AP) from Kaarel Allik for passing this course instead, which is slightly more advanced than IDK0020, but is suitable for beginners as well.
The goal is to teach many practical aspects of both OOP, Java language together with its rich API, and prepare students for the real world of software development. See the course program for more information. Attending the lectures is highly recommended, because you will get to know many details and tips that are otherwise hard to find.
Passing of Programmeerimise erikursus I, teaching C++, before this course is not mandatory, but recommended.
Lectures during the 2010 Spring semester run in VI-124 every Monday at 16:00 until 19:00.
